In order to provide you and your family with safe and effective plastic surgery procedures, vigilance and effective processes are required. Checklists and data are kept so that we can constantly evaluate ourselves and continually improve our level of service for you. Certainly we want to exceed the standard of care in a way that is comfortable, sustainable, affordable and safe. While we have regular internal audits devoted to improving ourselves we also find it helpful to have our facility audited by an outside agency, IMQ. IMQ is a division of the California Medical Association that certifies facilities that perform surgeries. Our processes are compared and bench marked for your safety. A full day of surgery and clinic was recently observed as were our internal processes and procedures. It requires extra effort from our staff, who always rise to the occasion. It was an exciting day in which we received accreditation for another three years. This is the longest period for which you can receive accreditation.
