Home/Non-Surgical Cosmetic Treatments/Dermal Fillers and Injectables/DAXXIFY™

DAXXIFY™ is a neurotoxin injectable that was FDA-approved in 2022 to treat frown (glabellar) lines. Manufactured by Revance® – the brand behind the very popular RHA® Collection of Dermal Fillers – DAXXIFY™ is similar in composition to BOTOX® Cosmetic, an injectable treatment commonly used to address dynamic wrinkles (or wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements). Like the solution that makes up BOTOX® Cosmetic, DAXXIFY™ contains botulinum toxin A, the component responsible for temporarily inhibiting the facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles; however, the addition of Peptide Exchange Technology™ (PXT) in DAXXIFY™’s formula can create results that last even longer than those of BOTOX® Cosmetic.

DAXXIFY™ is quickly gaining an excellent reputation in the industry for its track record of long-lasting effects, and we are excited to feature this new option at Chrysalis Cosmetics. If you are interested in this groundbreaking injectable, our board-certified plastic surgeon, Charles Perry, MD or one of our skilled Nurse Injectors* will be happy to tell you more during an initial consultation.

*Please see our injection appointment policy located at the bottom of this page.

What Are the Benefits of DAXXIFY™  ?

With procedures performed by our skilled injectors here at Chrysalis Cosmetics, DAXXIFY™ is capable of providing benefits such as:

Additionally, DAXXIFY™ is the first neuromodulator injectable to be free of human and animal byproducts.

How Is the DAXXIFY™ Treatment Performed?

Much like our other injectables at Chrysalis Cosmetics, DAXXIFY™ is administered with a very fine needle. While few patients report significant discomfort during the treatment, your injector can apply a clear topical anesthetic gel if you so desire. The injection should not take longer than 30 minutes, and a recovery period is typically not necessary.

How Long Do the Results of DAXXIFY™ Last?

One of DAXXIFY™’s major potential advantages is its ability to last an average of six months, with many patients seeing the effects last for closer to nine months. In fact, the results of DAXXIFY™ can last approximately twice as long as those of other injectables (even BOTOX® Cosmetic, which generally lasts three to four months). In most cases, we recommend patients undergo touch-up DAXXIFY™ injections every six months to maintain the effects.

How Much Does DAXXIFY™ Cost?

At Chrysalis Cosmetics, the price of DAXXIFY™ injections may vary depending on the sessions undergone, the use of a topical numbing gel, the member of our team performing the procedure*, and additional factors.

We should have a more concrete estimate of the pricing of your DAXXIFY™ treatment after a thorough evaluation of your health and aesthetic goals. In the meantime, please explore our plastic surgery financing options. To make the process as convenient as possible for every patient, we accept many forms of payment and we partner with two third-party financiers – CareCredit® and PatientFi® – to give eligible patients the chance to pay for their care in installments.

To learn more about DAXXIFY™ or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Perry or one of our Nurse Injectors, we welcome you to contact Chrysalis Cosmetics today.

*New Injections Policy

While Dr. Perry performs many of our injectable treatments, his surgery schedule continues to grow and he wants to make injectable procedures as convenient as possible for our patients. This is why many of our injectable treatments will be performed by our extensively trained and highly skilled nurse injectors. If patients specifically request to see Dr. Perry for injectable appointments, there may be a delay of at least one month, and the treatment will require a minimum of one of these options:

  1. A) 50 units of BOTOX® Cosmetic and two syringes of a dermal filler solution
  2. B) Three syringes of a dermal filler solution

Or

  1. C) An MD injection fee of $200 if the patient is only receiving BOTOX® Cosmetic or less than three syringes of a dermal filler solution

Please contact Chrysalis Cosmetics with any questions about our new injections policy.
