What Is JUVÉDERM VOLLURE®?
Fight back against the natural process of aging. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® is dermal filler specifically designed to address nasolabial folds, the lines that run from your nose to your mouth, with natural-looking results. FDA-approved to soften severe facial wrinkles, JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® is comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance found in the body, and is part of the JUVÉDERM® family of products. Dr. Charles Perry, a top plastic surgeon in Sacramento, and our skilled Nurse Injectors offer this innovative filler at our state-of-the-art practice.*
Where Is JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® Used
Some dermal fillers are exceptionally versatile and some are very precise in their application. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® is the latter. The unique formulation of VOLLURE® is designed to minimize the appearance of moderate to severe creases along the nose and mouth, often called parenthesis lines. These wrinkles can age someone who otherwise appears youthful and radiant, who may love to laugh but hates the lingering lines smiling creates. VOLLURE® can be used to help address this common concern.
Who Is a Good Candidate for JUVÉDERM VOLLURE®?
VOLLURE® is designed for patients age 18 and older, although most patients considering this treatment will be in their 30s, 40s, and beyond as that is more commonly when nasolabial folds tend to develop. That said, everyone ages at a unique rate and has their own distinct genetic heritage. During your initial consultation, we will evaluate your concerns, review your medical history, and discuss your cosmetic goals. Together you can determine if VOLLURE® or another
treatment is right for you.
What Is the JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® Procedure Like?
As with many of our dermal fillers, VOLLURE® can be administered relatively quickly. Using ultrafine needles and local anesthetic, VOLLURE® will be delivered into a series of locations identified as optimal for your needs. Most patients report little discomfort, and we can provide additional options to enhance your experience, if desired. VOLLURE® offers virtually immediate results, which you can admire before you leave our office.
What Are the Side Effects of JUVÉDERM VOLLURE®?
The most common effects that patients report include minor swelling and bruising at the site of the injections. Some redness or pinpoint bleeding may also occur, although this is less uncommon. These symptoms should fade within a day or two, often sooner. You are welcome to return to regular activity and your daily schedule after your treatment.
How Long Does JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® Last?
VOLLURE® can last up to 18 months, although your experience may vary. Some individuals report that with repeat treatment, the filler tends to last a little bit longer. If you enjoy the benefits of VOLLURE®, occasional “touch-up” sessions can be used to extend the effect.
How Much Does JUVÉDERM VOLLURE® Cost?
Several factors will be taken into consideration to determine the cost of your VOLLURE® treatment. The weightiest consideration will be the amount of VOLLURE® needed to achieve your goals. Our medical team will discuss the price of VOLLURE® based on your procedure details prior to beginning so that you can make the best decision for you. We accept many forms of payment, including plastic surgery financing through CareCredit® and PatientFi™.

*New Injections Policy
While Dr. Perry performs many of our injectable treatments, his surgery schedule continues to grow and he wants to make injectable procedures as convenient as possible for our patients. This is why many of our injectable treatments will be performed by our extensively trained and highly skilled nurse injectors. If patients specifically request to see Dr. Perry for injectable appointments, there may be a delay of at least one month, and the treatment will require a minimum of one of these options:
A) 50 units of BOTOX® Cosmetic and 2 syringes of a dermal filler solution
B) 3 syringes of a dermal filler solution
Or
C) An MD injection fee of $200 if the patient is only receiving BOTOX® Cosmetic or less than 3 syringes of a dermal filler solution
Please contact Chrysalis Cosmetics with any questions about our new injections policy.
